The Indonesian government is taking bold steps to expand the energy efficiency market and accelerate the adoption of energy-efficient technologies. A key part of this journey is the development of Energy Savings Insurance (ESI)—a transformative solution to build trust and mitigate risks in energy efficiency projects.

To support this initiative, the program “Creating Energy Efficiency Ecosystem through Multi-Stakeholders Partnership Approach in Indonesia” has been carried out by Ecoxyztem and Enertec, with support from the UK PACT Mentari Energy Efficiency program in collaboration with Direktorat Jenderal Energi Baru Terbarukan dan Konservasi Energi (EBTKE). This collaboration has resulted in the Guidelines on Energy Savings Insurance (ESI) Development in Indonesia, a comprehensive document tailored to local market needs.
